What to do and to see




Eslida is in the privileged location of "Sierra de Espadan" characterized by forests of pines , corks , aromatic plants and traditional orchards of olives and almonds.
There are plenty of activities to do like visiting Castro's castle , the cave of Oret, or quenching your thirst in sources of mineral waters. You can climb many peaks.
If you feel like some more adventure, you can hang from the zip line. You can walk or cycle.
Here you can also find the visitor's center of the natural park with exhibition hall, information and nature activities.
The weekly market is held each Saturday and around it you can find all the shops and services, Some artisans offer their products like organic cosmetics, honey, olive oil etc.
Feslida, is a festival of performing arts that takes place every September.

NATURE ACTIVITIES

In addition to the many walks, you can bike ride through the reserve on sealed roads and fire trails. Observation of the flora and fauna. Mushroom gathering in autumn, Fishing and swimming are possible in nearby beaches.

OUTDOOR SPORTS

The extraordinary network of trails is ideal for this sport, there are tracks for mountain bike and road bike throughout the mountains.

CULTURAL EVENTS

Last week of July and August, are the annual town celebrations. In January you can see the traditional blessing of the animals, carriage processions and bonfires.
Around Easter the passion of the Christ is staged.
Feslida, festival of the performing arts, takes place during three days in the first or second weekend of September.
